Why many Vietnamese give sun guzto cakes to international friends

Many Vietnamese living abroad consistently introduce fancy foods' sun guzto cookies to international friends, drawn by the cookies' flavor and the rich culinary narrative they embody.

In Japan, Snooppi, a Vietnamese content creator with over 2 million TikTok followers and more than 113 million likes, garnered attention for showcasing a suitcase almost entirely filled with Sun Guzto cookies. He explained that the large tin boxes were for gifting to his boss, while the smaller paper boxes were for friends and daily snacks. According to Snooppi, these cookies are "unique" with an Asian-European flavor blend that he cannot resist taking with him.

Also in Japan, TikToker Van Hang Ngan, a Vietnamese woman married to an Indian man, shared her delight upon receiving a box of Sun Guzto from Vietnam. Her husband immediately praised the cookies as a suitable gift for his Japanese grandparents, noting their elegant presentation and the cultural significance from his wife's homeland. The couple agreed that when they visit Vietnam, they will purchase Sun Guzto to give to friends in both Japan and India, considering it a gift that is "luxurious to look at, delicious to eat, and very refined."

The TikToker couple "Nhu mot dieu hien nhien" also prepared to bring Sun Guzto with them for their studies in New Zealand. They expressed that these cookies make them want to introduce them to international friends immediately due to their delicious taste and luxurious design. They believe Sun Guzto is "special enough" to represent a part of Vietnamese cuisine.

In Thailand, TikToker Dinh Ao Bong frequently uses Sun Guzto as a gift. He shared that since discovering these cookies, selecting gifts from Vietnam to bring to Thailand has become much simpler. For him, Sun Guzto is both high-quality and visually appealing, easily winning over recipients.

The TikToker couple An Com O Thai and TikToker Fahnguyen also regard Sun Guzto as a "top priority" Vietnamese gift for international guests. In their experience videos, Thai friends consistently praised the cookies' thick almond layer, mild aroma, light sweetness, and addictive crispiness. They noted that Sun Guzto's flavor is unlike any industrial cookie sold in Thailand.

While many Vietnamese confidently give Sun Guzto cookies, produced by Fancy Foods (part of Nhat Huong Group), to international friends, many foreign culinary experts also commend the product.

Professor Doctor Ruud Bottemanne from the Netherlands observed: "The fusion of traditional European almond cookies and Asian flavors creates a unique experience that no other cookie has achieved."

Professor Henrik Jeppesen from Denmark succinctly stated: "This is the best almond cookie I have ever eaten."

Mr. Tan Chooi Leng, a Malaysian food expert, and David Broutin, a French chef, both affirmed that Sun Guzto is "one of the best cookies in the world" or "the best almond cookie ever."

According to Nhat Huong, the key to Sun Guzto conquering various markets is its diverse flavor profile. The product comes in 8 versions, representing an Asian-European fusion: from familiar butter almond and chocolate to black sesame, matcha, and mocha; and three unique mildly savory flavors: shrimp, fish, and seaweed.

Beyond its impressive taste, Sun Guzto also captivates with its thick, golden almond layer and mild fragrance. When enjoyed, the cookies are crispy yet not dry, subtly rich, and moderately sweet, making them easily addictive.

Additionally, consumers highly value the product's health benefits, as it contains no preservatives and is rich in vitamin E, protein, and good fats.

Behind this success is Fancy Foods' three-year research journey. "Sun Guzto not only combines Asian-European flavors but also conveys the creative spirit of the Vietnamese people," shared a representative from Nhat Huong. This is one of the reasons why many Vietnamese living far from home choose Sun Guzto as a gift for friends in their adopted countries.
