Police increased patrols last weekend in the seaside beach area to prevent unruly student behavior. Officials launched the "come get your kids" campaign, urging parents to supervise minors in these areas.

"5 years ago, spring breaks were chaotic. We created this campaign to encourage parents to watch their children when no adults are present", kevin boyle, seaside's community development unit manager, said.

Students are gathering for "beach takeover" events organized via social media in florida. Tommy ford, bay county sheriff, which includes panama city beach, explained that nearby atlanta high schools have coordinated their spring break schedules, causing swarms of teenagers to descend on the city.
