The Powerball jackpot drawing on the night of 24/12 revealed the winning numbers as 04, 25, 31, 52, and 59, with the Powerball number being 19. This marks the second time a Powerball jackpot ticket was sold in Arkansas; the first occurred in 2010.

Every ticket sold contributes to public programs and services nationwide", Matt Strawn, Chairman of Powerball Products Group and Iowa Lottery Director, stated on 25/12.

This prize emerged after 46 consecutive drawings without a player matching all six numbers. The last jackpot win was on 6/9, when players in Missouri and Texas shared a USD 1.787 billion prize.

The last time a player won on Christmas Eve was in 2011. According to organizers, the Powerball Christmas Day drawing on 25/12 has had four winners, most recently in 2013.

Last-minute ticket sales boosted the jackpot value beyond expectations. This is the second largest prize in US history and the largest Powerball prize of 2025. The winner can opt for a lump-sum cash payment of USD 834.9 million.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are 1 in 292.2 million, a design feature that creates huge prizes through a rollover mechanism when there are no winners.

Tickets, priced at USD 2 each, are sold in 45 states, Washington, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands.
