Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced, "We have delivered a diplomatic note to the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, informing them that the state of Qatar considers the military attache, the security attache, and all staff working in these two departments to be unwelcome individuals, requesting them to leave Qatari territory within a maximum of 24 hours."
The ministry emphasized the decision followed "continuous and hostile attacks by Iran against Qatar, violating the country's sovereignty and security. These actions also contradict international law, United Nations Security Council Resolution 2817, and the principles of friendly neighborly relations."
In Qatar, Iran carried out numerous attacks targeting strategic energy facilities, causing severe disruption to infrastructure and economic activities. QatarEnergy, the national oil and gas corporation, confirmed on 19/3 that Iranian missiles hit the Ras Laffan liquefied natural gas (LNG) complex. This facility, the world's largest LNG production site, is approximately 80 km north of Doha. Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned "Iran's brutal attack on Ras Laffan", calling it "a direct threat to national security".

Following the offensive launched by the United States and Israel on 28/2, Iran retaliated. It launched missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at Israeli territory, United States bases in the Middle East, and critical energy infrastructure across several Gulf nations.
Qatar's Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed its right to take all necessary measures to protect its sovereignty and security, in accordance with international law.
Iranian officials have not yet commented on the information.
