Unidentified drones fly over Venezuelan presidential palace, security forces open fire

Gunfire erupted near the Venezuelan presidential palace, with anonymous sources reporting that security forces opened fire after detecting unidentified drones.

AFP, citing anonymous sources, reported that several unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) flew over the Venezuelan presidential palace, also known as Miraflores Palace, in central Caracas at approximately 8 PM on 5/1. Security forces opened fire in response.

The incident occurred hours after Vice President Delcy Rodriguez was sworn in as Venezuela's interim president.
