The new Territory retains its predecessor's dimensions. It features newly designed wheels, ranging from 18 to 19 inches depending on the version. The interior layout remains the same. The top-of-the-line version boasts a modern cockpit with dual connected 12.3-inch digital screens. The standard and Titanium versions still use a 7-inch screen behind the steering wheel.
For the top-tier Titanium X, Ford has added a digital cabin rearview mirror. The seats are two-toned black and orange. For the first time, the Ford Territory has a dedicated mobile app that allows users to lock/unlock doors, schedule engine start/stop, activate the air conditioning, and view maintenance history.
The 2025 Ford Territory retains the front-wheel drive system and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission of its predecessor. It's equipped with a 1.5 EcoBoost engine, producing 160 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque at 1,500-3,500 rpm. It offers four driving modes: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Mountain.
Active safety systems are available on the highest trim, including features like: autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, and a 360-degree camera.
The Territory competes in the C-segment CUV market against rivals such as the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Tucson. In the first seven months of 2025, Ford sold 6,555 units, ranking second in the segment behind the CX-5 (8,970 units).
