A series of Mitsubishi vehicles offer tens of millions of dong in promotions in December

Xpander, Xforce, Attrage, Triton, and the new Destinator model feature promotions worth tens of millions of dong through registration fee support or cash.

In a move to stimulate demand, similar to Toyota, Hyundai, Honda, and Mazda, Mitsubishi is offering 50-100% registration fee support in the last month of 2025. This promotion helps reduce on-road costs for customers and can also be viewed as a form of price reduction.

Mitsubishi's best-selling model, the Xpander, comes with full registration fee incentives for all versions. At dealerships, the Xpander's price is reduced by about 56-70 million dong, not including other accessory gifts.

Direct competitors to the Mitsubishi Xpander, such as the Toyota Veloz, Hyundai Stargazer, and Suzuki XL7, are also running similar promotions.

The Destinator, a new model in the C-segment CUV category, launched on 1/12. Mitsubishi applied special prices of 739 million and 808 million dong for the Premium and Ultimate versions, respectively. These prices represent a 41-47 million dong reduction from the suggested retail prices of 780 million and 855 million dong.

Like the Xpander, the B-segment CUV, Mitsubishi Xforce, also offers 100% registration fee support for all versions. The Xforce's price is reduced by about 60-70 million dong.

The Japanese automaker is also providing full registration fee support for two other models: the B-segment sedan, Attrage, and the Triton pickup. The prices of these two vehicles at dealerships are reduced by 38-49 million dong and 40-56 million dong, respectively.

As of October, Mitsubishi's cumulative sales reached over 30,000 vehicles, a slight 7% decrease compared to the same period in 2024. Mitsubishi's sales ranked fifth in the market after VinFast, Toyota, Hyundai, and Ford.

The Xpander is the brand's mainstay model, with sales of 15,082 vehicles, accounting for about 50% of the Japanese automaker's total sales volume. The Xforce was the second best-seller with 9,888 vehicles. Currently, all Mitsubishi products are imported from Thailand or Indonesia. A small portion of Xpander MT versions are assembled at the factory in TP HCM (formerly Binh Duong).
