Avore Electric has entered the Indian electric motorcycle market with its debut product, the EX Series. This lineup includes three variants: EX 1, EX 2, and EX 2S, with prices starting from USD 1,300. Unlike the common strategy of many new brands launching electric scooters, Avore has directly focused on the sports electric motorcycle segment with a nakedbike design.

The EX 1 is the standard, most affordable variant, offering a claimed range of 160 km and a top speed of 100 km/h. The EX 2 features a larger 5 kWh battery, extending its range to 255 km. The top-tier EX 2S boasts a 260 km range, a maximum speed of 114 km/h, and the most features in the series.

Avore EX 2S – the premium variant of the EX Series.

All three EX Series variants are powered by a 14 horsepower (10.5 kW) electric motor, delivering 250 Nm of torque. A key engineering highlight is the integrated design of the electric motor with the swingarm, which optimizes handling and enhances stability during rides.

The EX Series is equipped with various technological features. Depending on the variant, the motorcycles feature either a 7-inch TFT or digital display, smartphone connectivity, GPS, multiple ride modes, an automatic mode, a simulated manual mode, parking assist, guide lights, and several smart connectivity functions. The premium EX 2S also includes artificial intelligence (AI) assistance and six ride modes.

Visually, the EX Series adopts a manual motorcycle aesthetic rather than a typical electric scooter look. It features a muscular fuel tank design and an LED lighting system. The two higher-end variants offer optional two-tone paint schemes, while the EX 1 comes in three solid color choices.

Battery charging is simplified with an integrated 1,500 W fast charger on the EX 2 and EX 2S models, compatible with standard household power outlets. Avore states that charging the battery from 20% to 80% takes approximately two hours, while a full charge requires four hours.

According to the company, the EX Series was developed internally over three years and is built on Avore’s proprietary electric platform. Avore offers a five-year battery warranty and states that the models underwent over 100,000 km of testing before launch. With a starting price of USD 1,300, the Avore EX Series will directly compete with rivals such as the Revolt RV400, Oben Rorr EZ, and Tork Kratos R.
