The incident occurred when a truck swerved completely into the oncoming lane to overtake a car at the end of a curve. As a motorcyclist approached from the opposite direction, they were startled by the encroaching truck, lost control, and veered into a drainage ditch.
Passersby assisted the victim in uprighting their motorcycle and getting back on their feet safely.

Drivers must avoid encroaching on oncoming lanes to overtake when safety cannot be guaranteed, particularly when there is approaching traffic. Even though the truck did not collide with the motorcycle during the maneuver, the reckless overtake caused the motorcyclist to panic and fall, highlighting how such actions can lead to accidents.
