BYD offers tens of millions of dong in incentives for several car models

BYD Vietnam is offering registration fee support and cash incentives for its distributed car lines, with the highest amount reaching 70 million dong, along with gifts, applicable in march.

The BYD Seal 5 receives the highest incentive in the program, benefiting from 100% registration fee support, equivalent to nearly 70 million dong. Customers purchasing this plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) sedan will also receive a 2.2 kW portable charger and a power adapter, enabling convenient home charging.

In the family car segment, the all-electric MPV BYD M6 comes with cash incentives of up to 30 million dong, along with a portable charger and a power adapter. Meanwhile, the DM-i super hybrid SUV Sealion 6 receives 50% registration fee support (up to 46.8 million dong). Users will also get the BYD app, floor mats, a portable charger, and a power adapter.

For all-electric sedans, the BYD Seal includes cash incentives of 30 million dong, one year of comprehensive insurance, a 5 million dong charging voucher, and a complete in-car charger set. The BYD Atto 2 offers an incentive package comprising the BYD app, a 10 million dong charging voucher, one year of comprehensive insurance, a wall-mounted charger, a 2.2 kW portable charger, and a power adapter.

In the premium vehicle segment, customers who buy the Han and Sealion 8 models will receive the BYD app, floor mats, and a complete charger set. The DM-i super hybrid MPV BYD M9 comes with a gift package including the BYD app, floor mats, and a gift set valued at 5 million dong.

A representative from BYD Vietnam stated that the company is not limited to short-term incentives, but is gradually investing in a long-term development foundation. The focus is on building a synchronous ecosystem to support users. In terms of distribution, the company continues to expand its authorized dealership network in major cities, with plans to add 7 showrooms this year.

BYD Vietnam is collaborating with charging solution partners to gradually complete its public and home charging network. "The inclusion of wall-mounted and portable chargers in this incentive program is also part of a strategy to help customers quickly adapt to the electrified ecosystem", said a company representative.

In the financial sector, BYD Vietnam is also partnering with banks and credit institutions to offer flexible car loan packages, reducing initial cash flow pressure for car owners. The company stated it is working with transport businesses and service providers to integrate electric vehicles into practical operations, aiming to expand the ecosystem and increase the penetration of new energy vehicles.

In Vietnam, BYD car lines are covered by a warranty policy of 6 years or 150,000 km, whichever comes first. The battery, electric motor, and electric motor controller components have an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty.
