The momentum caused the container to lose balance, swing left, and crash into a dashcam-equipped car traveling in the opposite direction. The extent of injuries and property damage remains unknown.
Drivers should reduce speed when approaching turns, especially those operating large vehicles with high centers of gravity, such as container trucks. Centrifugal force can cause the container to overturn if the driver exceeds the speed limit or the vehicle's center of gravity is imbalanced, posing a risk to themselves and other road users.
A similar incident occurred on 20/1/2025, when a container detached from a truck as it navigated the Trung Luong T-junction roundabout in My Tho city, nearly crushing pedestrians.
