Ferrari recently unveiled the Amalfi, a new model combining signature Italian design and performance. Positioned in the company's lower price segment, the car features the proportions of a classic grand tourer and a powerful twin-turbo V8 engine.
Renowned digital designer Theophilus Chin, also known as Theottle, has reimagined the Ferrari Amalfi as the next-generation Toyota GR Supra.

Transforming a Ferrari into a Toyota typically requires significant design alterations due to the distinct design languages of the two brands. However, Theottle's rendering demonstrates otherwise. Comparing the two images reveals minimal changes. The imagined Toyota version only features redesigned headlights and a slightly wider grille, while the front bumper and the entire body remain unchanged.
To complete the rendering, the designer replaced the Ferrari logo with the Toyota logo. The vibrant Giallo Modena yellow paint also required no alteration, closely resembling the Karashi yellow on the Toyota Prius, thus harmonizing with the Toyota aesthetic.

Discussions surrounding the visual overlap between Ferrari and Toyota are not entirely new. Ferrari's SF90, introduced in 2019, has a front end similar to Toyota's hammerhead design, a common feature across most of the Japanese brand's lineup. This similarity partly explains why the Toyota Crown Sport SUV, sold in Japan, has been compared to the Ferrari Purosangue.
Social media users have also pointed out that the Ferrari Amalfi shares some design cues with another Japanese model, the Honda Prelude. This Civic-based coupe features a narrow grille between the headlights and air intakes on the bumper similar in shape to those on the Amalfi.
