Ford dealerships have announced an updated version of the Territory, nearly three years after its initial launch in Vietnam. This refreshed model will debut alongside the all-electric Mustang Mach-E CUV at an event commemorating Ford's 30th anniversary in the Vietnamese market, scheduled for 15/8 in Hanoi.
The most significant change in this mid-cycle Ford Territory refresh is its exterior. The split headlight and daytime running light setup has been replaced with a design that seamlessly integrates with the grille. The grille itself gets a new look with horizontal chrome accents. The rear of the vehicle remains largely unchanged.

The interior layout remains the same.
The new Territory retains its 4,685 mm length but features new 19-inch wheels. The interior layout remains unchanged, with a 12.3-inch dual-screen digital cockpit. Details about any changes to the features for the Vietnamese market are not yet available.
According to dealerships, the updated Territory keeps the front-wheel drive system and 7-speed dual-clutch transmission from its predecessor. It is equipped with a 1.5 EcoBoost engine, producing 160 horsepower and 248 Nm of torque between 1,500 and 3,500 rpm. Four driving modes are available: Eco, Normal, Sport, and Mountain.
The Ford Territory is currently sold in Vietnam in four versions, priced between 759 and 889 million VND. The vehicle underwent a price adjustment in 12/2024, with a 40 million VND reduction across all variants.
The Territory competes in the C-segment CUV market, alongside rivals like the Mazda CX-5, Honda CR-V, and Hyundai Tucson. In the first half of 2025, Ford sold 5,630 units of the Territory, ranking second in the segment behind the CX-5 (7,384 units). This represents a 91% increase in Territory sales compared to the same period last year, primarily due to the price reduction in late 2024 and dealership promotions.
Within Ford's product lineup, the Territory is the second best-selling model, trailing only the Ranger pickup truck. Originally developed for the Chinese market, the Territory is assembled locally in Vietnam.
