Girl bewildered as truck pushes her hundreds of meters

A truck pushed a motorcyclist for hundreds of meters near Quan Toan market on 6/4, stopping only when a bystander intervened.

The incident began when a girl on a motorbike appeared directly in front of a dashcam-equipped truck. The distance between the truck's front and the motorbike was minimal, and soon the girl disappeared from the driver's view. Approximately 30 seconds later, a woman by the roadside signaled the truck to stop. The girl then emerged from the front of the truck, stepping onto the sidewalk.

Video footage from nearby residences suggests the truck's front bumper may have become entangled with the motorbike's rear handlebar, preventing the girl from dismounting. Fortunately, the collision resulted in no injuries.

For motorcyclists, awareness of large vehicles is crucial due to their extensive blind spots. Riders should actively keep a safe distance when hearing trucks approach. It is also advisable for motorcyclists to ride close to the roadside and avoid the middle of the road, especially when in front of larger vehicles.

Drivers of large vehicles must maintain constant vigilance, observing their surroundings carefully, and operating at slow speeds. This is particularly important in residential areas to anticipate and prevent potential hazards.
