The Vietnamese car market is experiencing a wave of discounts in December 2025, spanning from popular to premium vehicles. Honda is participating in this competitive environment, offering promotions on several models, mainly through 50-100% registration fee support (based on the 10% rate) or direct cash reductions.
Leading the promotional offers is the Honda Civic e:HEV RS 2024 production year (VIN) models, which receive a 100% registration fee waiver, equivalent to approximately 100 million VND. The 2025 VIN G and RS variants are offered with 50% registration fee support, translating to a reduction of about 40-44 million VND.

The C-segment CUV, Honda CR-V, offers a direct cash discount of 80 million VND for its hai variants, G and L. Meanwhile, all variants of the B-segment CUV, HR-V, receive a 50% registration fee promotion, leading to a reduction of about 35-43 million VND at dealerships.
The BR-V lineup also benefits from a 50% registration fee incentive. This results in a price reduction of approximately 31-35 million VND for the small MPV model.
Honda's key sales driver is the B-segment sedan, the City. In December, the City is competing with segment rivals like the Toyota Vios and Hyundai Accent by offering a 100% registration fee waiver. This brings the Honda City's price down by approximately 50-57 million VND.
Similar to competitors such as Toyota, Mitsubishi, Hyundai, and Kia, Honda has offered consistent monthly discounts throughout 2025. While total sales for the Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers' Association (VAMA) increased by 6,5% through November, Honda's sales (a VAMA member) reached 25,129 units, marking a slight 3% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.
