The UC3 features a Honda-developed electric motor positioned on the rear wheel, delivering 6 kW of power and a top speed of 80 km/h. This marks Honda's first model in Southeast Asia to utilize a fixed LFP battery, located under the floor. It boasts an IP67 waterproof rating, UNR136 safety standard compliance, and a capacity of 3,174 kWh, providing a range of approximately 120 km on a full charge. The under-seat storage compartment offers a volume of 26 liters.
Additional technologies on the Honda UC3 include: regenerative braking, combined braking system, three riding modes, a reverse assist mode, a 5-inch TFT screen, a front charging port integrated with a smart key, and a USB Type-C charging port in the front storage compartment. The vehicle supports the CHAdeMo international charging standard and comes with a 1,200 W charger, allowing a full battery charge in 4 hours.
At the event, Honda announced a partnership with pioneering HEAD electric vehicle dealerships to implement a buyback and refurbishment policy for the Honda UC3. Under this policy, HEAD dealerships will commit to repurchasing vehicles that meet specified conditions regarding documentation, maintenance, appearance, and operational status. The value of used vehicles will be determined based on criteria such as mileage, years of use, maintenance history, and the actual condition of parts.
Honda expects to begin sales and announce pricing for the UC3 from June.
