Honda Vietnam, in collaboration with the National Traffic Safety Committee and the Ministry of Education and Training, implemented a program from October 2025 to March 2026 to donate helmets to first-grade students across the country. During this period, the program distributed nearly 1,8 million standard helmets to first-grade students in over 14,000 schools nationwide. Concurrently, traffic safety education was provided to nearly 1,8 million students and more than 350,000 parents. Since its inception, Honda has donated over 12 million helmets in Vietnam.
Statistics from the organizing committee indicate a positive change in students' awareness and behavior regarding traffic participation. The child helmet usage rate increased from 85% in 2025 to 89% in 2026. This data was collected by the company at over 790 schools nationwide. According to the organizing committee, Honda Vietnam plans to expand its advanced training programs in the future to further raise traffic safety awareness, specifically focusing on standard helmet use for children under 6 years old.
"The program also spreads a message to parents: always wear standard helmets yourselves and ensure your children, including those under 6 years old, do the same," a representative from the organizing committee stated.

The "Wear a Pretty Helmet, Protect Us" program, launched by Honda Vietnam and its partners, aims for 100% of Vietnamese people to wear standard helmets when using two-wheeled vehicles. It also seeks to enhance traffic safety awareness across all age groups. Concurrently, Honda Vietnam collaborates with the government to achieve the goal of "Zero Road Traffic Fatalities" by 2045 and "Zero Fatalities from Honda motorcycle and automobile crashes" by 2050.
