The VNeTraffic app has introduced a series of new features in its latest update, most notably two utilities: "Vehicle information confirmation" and "Driver's license information feedback". The first allows users to send requests to add, remove, or confirm the status of personal vehicles. The second enables users to request a review if their driver's license (GPLX) contains incorrect information, such as an inaccurate license number, date, or vehicle type.
To access these new utilities, users must update the VNeTraffic app to its latest version.
In the final quarter of 2025, when the VNeTraffic app first rolled out a new version, many users were surprised to find previously sold vehicles or unfamiliar cars unexpectedly appearing on their accounts, still registered under their ownership. Addressing this issue previously required citizens to file declarations with police agencies and await verification for processing.
This latest update provides a direct solution through the "Information confirmation" section. Here, users can request confirmation for various scenarios, including: excess vehicles, missing vehicles, vehicles owned by the user, and vehicles gifted, given, or repurchased but not yet transferred.
Within the "Document wallet" section, the new utilities are located under "Document details". Users can select "Driver's license" to submit feedback for incorrect information or "Vehicle registration certificate" to confirm a vehicle's status.
To correct driver's license information, users must tap "Send feedback" in the "Driver's license" section. A list of editable information, such as a missing driver's license or incorrect driver's license information, will appear. Users should follow the on-screen instructions, then confirm that the provided information is accurate before finally tapping "Send feedback". The authorities will then review the submission and update the information if it is valid.
VNeTraffic is a mobile application developed by the Traffic Police Department (Ministry of Public Security) and launched in early 2025. The app aims to serve as a channel for citizens to look up and manage vehicle and document information, as well as report traffic issues. This initiative contributes to promoting digital transformation and building a smart transportation system.
