Kia marked its 80th anniversary by unveiling the Vision Meta Turismo, an ambitious 4-door GT fastback concept, as a gift to its enthusiasts.
Its design showcases distinct futuristic elements. The body features sharp headlight lines reminiscent of a Lamborghini, while the integrated taillights echo designs found on current Kia models like the K4.

The single-pane glass design from front to rear is one of the elements difficult to bring to production.

The interior has four seats, with the driver's seat in a different color, and a joystick on the armrest.
Several features suggest the Vision Meta Turismo is unlikely to enter production soon. The windshield seamlessly integrates with the roof, and the rear glass presents similar design complexities.
The cabin accommodates three passenger seats in a matching color scheme, contrasting with the driver's seat, which features a different color, a joystick, and an integrated screen on the armrest. Another screen is seamlessly integrated below the windshield.
The concept also introduces a revolutionary steering wheel, designed as an intuitive control center for next-generation mobile technology. This steering wheel supports three immersive digital modes:
The first, Speedster mode, prioritizes driving performance and precision. Dreamer mode enhances relaxation and comfort through realistic digital elements. Finally, Gamer mode transforms the cabin into an immersive entertainment space with an interactive environment.
Each mode utilizes an advanced augmented reality head-up display (HUD AR) system. This technology projects three-dimensional virtual graphics that appear to float above the road, creating a seamless integration of the real and digital worlds for the driver.
