Land Rover dealerships in Vietnam are currently accepting deposits for the Defender Trophy SUV. This special edition model draws design inspiration from the Trophy competition, which was established in 1980. The distributor announced that the Defender Trophy is expected to launch in Vietnam this July.
Initially, the Trophy competition was organized by the Camel tobacco company, with Land Rover serving as the primary vehicle supplier. After 2000, the competition ceased. However, in 2025, the British automaker revived the event with a similar philosophy, rebranding it as the Defender Trophy. Following qualifying rounds, the Defender Trophy finals are scheduled to take place in late 2026 in Africa.

The Defender Trophy edition is based on the standard Defender 110 model. It features two distinctive exterior colors. One is Deep Sandglow Yellow, reminiscent of the Defenders that participated in past Trophy competitions. The other is Keswick Green, evoking a classic and adventurous spirit.
Contrasting with the yellow and green exterior colors is a glossy black paint finish on the hood, lower body, brake calipers, and rear recovery hooks. The vehicle is equipped with 20-inch Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure multi-terrain tires.
In addition to the standard features, the Defender Trophy includes exclusive accessories such as a roof rack, front and rear mudguards, and a raised air intake on the A-pillar. It also comes with a matte black folding side ladder and a waterproof storage box on the C-pillar.
Defender Trophy competition badges are prominently displayed on the hood, C-pillar, door sills, and dashboard. The interior largely mirrors the standard version, with the exception of yellow accents running across the dashboard and doors, creating a distinctive highlight.

The seats in the Defender Trophy are upholstered in Ebony Windsor leather. The vehicle also incorporates the latest upgrades for the 2026 model year, including a new gear selector and a 13.1-inch central touchscreen.
Standard features of the Land Rover Defender Trophy include air suspension with adjustable ride height, a 900 mm wading capability, all-terrain progress control technology, terrain response 2 for automatic driving mode adjustments based on road conditions, hill descent control, an electronic differential, and torque vectoring by braking for improved cornering control.
In Vietnam, the Defender Trophy is powered by a 3.0 V6 turbocharged mild-hybrid electric vehicle (MHEV) engine, producing 400 horsepower and 550 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
With its dominant off-road style, the Land Rover Defender Trophy, priced at nearly 7.5 billion VND, presents an alternative to models like the Lexus GX, which starts from 6.4 billion VND.
