The Wuling Grango is set to launch in Vietnam, with dealerships quoting an estimated price of 499 million dong. This figure, communicated to customers by dealers, is not yet the official price from TMT, the vehicle's distributor. The 7-seater model was initially referred to as the HG7 by TMT before its name was changed to Grango.
If the Grango is indeed priced below 500 million dong, it will become Vietnam's cheapest all-electric 7-seater MPV. Currently, the most accessible electric MPV on the market is the VinFast Limo Green, priced at 749 million dong. The Grango's price would also position it among the most affordable in the overall MPV segment, comparable to the standard Hyundai Stargazer, which costs 489 million dong.
The Wuling Grango measures 4,515 x 1,725 x 1,790 mm (length x width x height), with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. These dimensions give Wuling's all-electric model a wheelbase and height similar to mid-size MPVs like the MG G50, GAC M6 Pro, or all-electric models such as the BYD M6. However, its overall length and width place it in the compact segment, alongside models like the Toyota Veloz and Mitsubishi Xpander.

The Grango's exterior design is simple, with few distinctive features. Its rear is quite sloped, resembling traditional commercial vans, emphasizing practicality.
The interior of this Chinese model is also simple, designed for maximum utility. Sales consultants indicate that the Grango primarily targets business service customers. It also appeals to families who prioritize low initial costs, do not emphasize brand, and require a vehicle that meets basic transportation needs.
According to Wuling dealerships, the Grango features a 7-seater configuration (2+2+3). The middle row includes two individual seats, each with its own armrest for occupants.

A detailed equipment list for Wuling's 7-seater model in Vietnam is not yet available. In China, the vehicle comes with led headlights, 14-inch wheels, front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes. Interior features include a smart key, one-touch window down function for the driver's side, and an infotainment screen for the cockpit (depending on the variant). Other standard features include a smart key, two speakers, and a usb charging port.
Regarding the powertrain, TMT confirms that the Wuling Grango is equipped with an electric motor delivering 101 hp and 180 Nm of torque, allowing for a top speed of 135 km/h. The vehicle's battery has a capacity of 32,6 kWh, providing a range of 300 km. With a 7 kW home charger, a full charge takes approximately 5 h.
For customers who place early deposits, dealerships state that the company offers promotions including three years of free charging support, valued at 16 million dong, and a complimentary 7 kW home charger, valued at 7,5 million dong. Wuling sales staff indicate the vehicle is expected to launch in late May or early June. The distributor aims to assemble this model locally, but a small initial batch may be imported from China for preliminary sales.
