Japanese luxury brand Lexus will launch a limited edition of the LBX Morizo RR Original Edition for the domestic market in October. Called the Original Edition, the LBX Morizo RR replicates the specifications of the concept car showcased at the 2024 Tokyo Auto Show.

The Original Edition will be distributed exclusively in Japan, with a total of 100 vehicles. 70 units will be sold through Lexus dealerships, while the remaining 30 will be allocated through a lottery system. Customers will pay 49,600 USD for the LBX Morizo RR Original Edition, significantly more than the standard LBX's price of 28,500 USD.
The LBX Morizo RR Original Edition does not receive any performance upgrades. It retains the 1.6-liter, three-cylinder turbocharged engine producing 300 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. The vehicle uses an 8-speed Direct Shift automatic transmission or a 6-speed iMT manual transmission, combined with an electronically controlled all-wheel-drive system and a Torsen front/rear limited-slip differential.

The special edition offers optional yellow brake calipers, Ochre leather interior, and adds Morizo's signature yellow accents to the grille trim and seatbelts. Morizo is the nickname of Akio Toyoda, chairman of the board of Toyota. The dashboard also features an exclusive badge for the special edition.
