A girl on a motorbike caused a traffic incident on 7/7 in an alley off 30 Thang 4 street, Phu Loi ward. She rode through an intersection without observing or reducing speed, crashing into the back of a man's motorbike carrying a baby. The collision sent all three to the ground. Instead of helping the baby, the man immediately rose and kicked the girl directly in the head.
That same afternoon, local police invited the man and the girl involved in the incident to the station to take their statements as part of the investigation.
Driving skills: When approaching intersections with obstructed views, drivers should reduce speed, use their horn, or ideally, stop completely to observe before proceeding. In this specific incident, the girl sped through the intersection without observing or slowing down, leading to the accident.
Conversely, after a collision, the first priority is to assist anyone injured. It is strictly forbidden to assault another person, regardless of who is at fault. In this case, the man should have checked if his child was injured. By assaulting the girl, he transitioned from being the aggrieved party to potentially being at fault himself, and could even face criminal charges depending on his actions and the victim's condition.
In a similar road rage incident, a taxi driver forced an adjacent oto to stop after a collision, then exited his vehicle and assaulted the other driver on 3/7 on Lang Ha street, Hanoi.
