A car was traveling in the middle lane of a three-lane road when its driver moved to the right lane, adjacent to the median strip, upon seeing a motorcycle approaching against traffic. The motorcycle, however, also shifted into the same lane as the car.
The car driver repeatedly honked as a warning, but the motorcyclist failed to stop and crashed into the car. The impact sent him onto the car's hood, where he lay motionless, seemingly stunned. He remained in a reclined position, resembling someone asleep, despite the driver continuously sounding the horn.
The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) confirmed the incident took place on Jalan Masai Lama, Masai, Johor, on 6/1.
The accident involved a gray Volkswagen GTI, driven by a 22-year-old local man, and a red Honda Wave motorcycle, operated by a 29-year-old foreign national.
The motorcyclist sustained injuries and was taken to a hospital for treatment, while the car driver was unharmed.
