Since late June, Honda's authorized dealerships (HEAD) have been addressing screen errors on 89,908 domestically produced Honda SH125i and SH160i vehicles. These models were manufactured between 25/8/2025 and 28/4/2026.
The inspection and free software update for affected SH models is estimated to take about 12 minutes per vehicle.
Regarding the recall reason, the Japanese manufacturer stated that in some situations, the screen on many SH models might display a fixed 0 km/h, fail to show the speed unit or total mileage, incorrectly diagnose the coolant temperature sensor, which can prevent the vehicle from starting, or the high beam indicator light on the dashboard may not illuminate.

The screens on the affected SH models are digital. Models sold before November 2025 used an LCD type. Following that, Honda upgraded this screen to a 4,2-inch TFT type, offering more functions and a more appealing interface.
