South Korean automaker Kia revealed images of the new generation Seltos, which is set to debut first in India on 10/12, before rolling out to other countries.
The revealed images show a completely redesigned exterior for the Seltos. The overall design is sharper than the previous generation, combining styling cues from the brand's internal combustion engine (ICE) models with the aerodynamics of its latest electric vehicles (EVs). Slim vertical LED headlights frame a wider grille, incorporating daytime running lights.

The raised body lines and embossed roofline are similar to the EV5, complemented by a combination of horizontal and vertical LED taillights. It features flat door handles, more modern side mirrors, and aluminum trim on the roof and skid plate.
Kia has not released full dimensions but indicated the Seltos 2026 will have slightly larger specifications than the outgoing generation, resulting in a more spacious interior. While no interior images were revealed, the company promises more technology and amenities, hinting at a new digital cockpit and new materials. The driver assistance system will also be upgraded with more features.
Regarding the powertrain, the Seltos 2026 will likely continue to use the familiar 1,5-liter petrol, 1,5-liter turbocharged petrol, and 1,5-liter diesel engines. Kia may also add a hybrid powertrain. Transmission options include iMT manual and automatic gearboxes.
The Seltos belongs to the B-segment crossover utility vehicle (CUV) category, where it competes with models such as: Hyundai Creta, Honda HR-V, Skoda Kushaq, Geely Coolray, Mitsubishi Xforce, Lynk & Co 06, Toyota Yaris Cross, and Omoda C5.
