The 2025 Suzuki Swift, a B-segment hatchback, launched in Vietnam in late June. This variant is officially imported from Japan and is available in one trim level.
The new Swift features refined design, an updated engine, and enhanced equipment compared to its predecessor. The exterior boasts a sharper, more eye-catching appearance. Inside, the infotainment screen is larger, and additional features and conveniences have been integrated. Active safety equipment has also been upgraded with more functionalities.
The 2025 Swift is equipped with a mild hybrid powertrain, consisting of a 1.2-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine paired with an electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. The car utilizes a CVT transmission, achieving a combined fuel consumption of 4,26 liters/100 km.
Skoda Slavia

The Skoda Slavia, a new B-segment sedan, was introduced to Vietnamese customers on 11/9. The Slavia is assembled at the Skoda factory in Quang Ninh and is offered in three variants.
The Slavia's exterior design follows a European style. Compared to its segment rivals, the Slavia offers slightly higher ground clearance. Its interior maintains Skoda's characteristic practical design. The car is equipped with numerous safety features, similar to other competitors in its segment. The Slavia is powered by a 1.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine, with a choice of a six-speed manual or a six-speed automatic transmission, driving the front wheels.

The Dongfeng Box, an all-electric B-segment hatchback, launched in Vietnam in early January. The Box targets female customers primarily for urban commuting. It is available in four variants, officially imported from Trung Quoc.
The Box's exterior features an eye-catching design with rounded lines and distinctive accent details. The interior presents a stylish, individualistic aesthetic, complemented by a large infotainment screen. The car is equipped with a front-wheel electric motor and offers optional 31.4-42.3 kWh battery packs, providing a driving range of 330-430 km depending on the variant.
Volkswagen Golf eTSI

The Golf hatchback is available for the first time in Vietnam, launched in July with deliveries starting in September. The Golf is officially imported from Germany and comes in six variants. The three entry-level variants—Life, Style, and R-Line—feature a 1.5-liter mild-hybrid turbocharged engine producing 148 hp. The two mid-range GTI variants are equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine generating 242 hp. The top-tier Golf R variant, sold in Vietnam, utilizes a similar 2.0-liter turbocharged engine but delivers more power, reaching 315 hp.
Each variant presents specific differences in its exterior and interior design. Variants from the GTI upwards include sport seats with headrest logos. Standard features across the range include LED headlights, a 10-inch infotainment screen, and three-zone automatic climate control.
