The Chinese automaker is offering a special promotion for buyers of the Omoda C5 crossover. The promotion includes a 100% waiver of the registration fee (10-12% depending on the province) and financing of up to 90% of the vehicle's value for a period of up to 84 months through AB Bank, subject to the bank's terms and conditions.

Alternatively, buyers who choose to finance their purchase can opt for a 4.99% annual interest rate, fixed for the first 12 months, with a loan amount of up to 90% of the vehicle's value.

Imported from Indonesia, the C5 is the first model distributed by Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam. Launched in Quarter IV/2024, it comes with a 7-year or 1 million km warranty for the powertrain and a 10-year or 1 million km warranty for the engine, whichever comes first. The vehicle is equipped with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine producing 154 horsepower and 230 Nm of torque, paired with a CVT transmission.

Regarding safety, according to the company, the Omoda C5's body is made of over 78% high-strength steel. It is equipped with six airbags and a range of safety technologies including ABS, EBD, ESP, HAC, and TCS. The vehicle also features an ADAS package with 16 advanced driver-assistance features such as adaptive cruise control (ACC), intelligent cruise assist (ICA), traffic jam assist (TJA), and autonomous emergency braking (AEB). The C5 has earned 5-star safety ratings from Euro NCAP, ANCAP, and ASEAN NCAP.

The company is also constructing a manufacturing plant for Omoda & Jaecoo vehicles in the Hung Phu Industrial Park, Hung Yen Province, which is expected to begin operations by the end of 2026.
