Omoda & Jaecoo offer 10,000 test drives

The Chinese automaker aims to connect with consumers through test drives of its current models, targeting 10,000 test drives nationwide between now and the end of September.

Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam are hosting test drive events at authorized dealerships across the country, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang, Can Tho, Dak Lak, Hai Phong, and Nghe An. The company aims to achieve 10,000 test drives, the largest scale to date for Omoda & Jaecoo in Vietnam.

"Instead of focusing on one-way communication, Omoda & Jaecoo have chosen to let customers experience the vehicles firsthand. Each test drive will speak to the quality, technology, and style," a company representative said.

The two models available for test drives are the Omoda C5 and Jaecoo J7. The C5 is a C-segment crossover with a coupe-like style, featuring a youthful exterior, comfortable interior, and agile handling for urban environments. The J7 offers both gasoline and plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) versions, boasting a range of up to 1,600 km, according to the manufacturer.

Mr. Liu Yonghu, General Director of Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam, stated that the program aims to bring the vehicles closer to consumers, providing an opportunity for them to personally verify the quality and technology. "This hands-on experience allows customers to understand the value that Omoda & Jaecoo Vietnam has built, from the human-centric design and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) to the fuel efficiency and environmental friendliness," he explained.

Participants in the event will have the chance to receive gifts from the company and enter a lucky draw. The Omoda C5 is currently available in two versions, Premium and Flagship, priced at 589 and 669 million VND respectively. The Jaecoo J7, in gasoline and PHEV versions, is priced at 799 and 969 million VND respectively.
