Rope stretched between two vehicles takes down motorcyclist

A young man on a motorbike became entangled in a rope stretched across a road between two trucks carrying construction materials on 7/4 in Ea Hiao.

As the young man traveled on his motorbike, he unexpectedly became entangled in a cable pulled across the road by two trucks. The area lacked any warning personnel. The impact sent the victim sprawling onto the road, where he lay motionless. Local residents rushed the victim to the emergency room. Fortunately, his injuries were not life-threatening.

Road safety regulations prohibit vehicle operators from arbitrarily obstructing traffic, even for purposes such as rescue, towing vehicles with cargo, engine failure, or descending steep grades. In unavoidable circumstances, personnel must be present to warn and safely guide other road users.

In the incident captured in the video, at least two individuals should have been positioned at both ends of the cable to halt oncoming traffic. Towing vehicles on public roads without proper precautions is a violation of traffic safety laws.
