Significant upgrades for the 2026 Kushaq include a rear seat massage function, a segment-first feature, available on the two higher trims: Prestige and Monte Carlo. The automatic transmission has been upgraded from a 6-speed to an 8-speed unit. The top trim now boasts a panoramic sunroof. The Monte Carlo trim is exclusively offered with an automatic transmission and is distinguished by sporty red brake calipers and newly designed alloy wheels.
Standard features on the 2026 Kushaq include a power sunroof, LED headlights, alloy wheels, a rear defogger, automatic climate control, rain-sensing wipers, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. For safety and convenience, the vehicle is equipped with sequential rear turn signals and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The interior of the new Kushaq features upgraded seat upholstery materials, new styling elements, and an improved ambient lighting system. Higher trims are equipped with a 10,25-inch digital display, while the two lower trims, Signature and Sportline, will receive an 8-inch screen for the first time. The infotainment system has been enhanced to support wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto and integrates the Skoda application powered by Google Automotive AI for voice control.
The 2026 Kushaq continues to offer two turbocharged petrol engine options. The 1,5-liter TSI engine delivers 150 hp and a peak torque of 250 Nm, paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 1.0 TSI engine produces 115 hp and 178 Nm of peak torque, available with a choice of a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed automatic transmission.
According to the schedule, the new Skoda Kushaq will be launched in the first half of 2026, initially in the Indian market, followed by other countries.
The Kushaq competes in the B-segment CUV category, facing formidable rivals such as: Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda HR-V.
