The specific situation I encountered is illustrated in the image above. I entered the street from point A to reach a gas station. After refueling, I turned back in the direction of the yellow arrow to exit the street. As this was not a familiar route, I simply located the gas station on a map and drove in to refuel. When I was almost out of the street, someone informed me that I was on a restricted road. Therefore, I seek advice: if the street only has a "no cars" sign at point B, and I entered from point A, refueled, and then exited back through point A, have I violated any traffic laws? Thank you.
