The Subaru Uncharted, powered by a 74.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, will be offered in three trims for the US market: Premium FWD, Sport, and GT. Notably, the base Premium FWD model marks Subaru's first front-wheel-drive vehicle in decades. Both the Sport and GT trims feature Subaru's symmetrical all-wheel drive system with X-Mode.
The front-wheel-drive Premium FWD, boasting 221 horsepower, offers a range exceeding 492 km on a single charge. However, its limited availability suggests it won't be a permanent fixture in the Uncharted lineup. Most buyers are expected to opt for the all-wheel-drive Sport and GT trims.
The Sport and GT trims deliver 338 horsepower and an estimated range of up to 467 km. They can accelerate from 0 to 97 km/h in just 5 seconds.

Sharing a similar design language with the Solterra (also co-developed with Toyota), the Uncharted features rounded, muscular lines and robust bumpers. 18 and 20-inch wheels are available, along with roof rails.
All Uncharted versions are equipped with a standard NACS charging port, supporting DC fast charging up to 150 kW. An 11 kW onboard charger facilitates convenient AC charging at home. Subaru highlights the battery's thermal optimization system, enabling a 10-80% charge in 30 minutes.

The Sport trim boasts a heated steering wheel, water-resistant seats, and a surround-view monitor. The GT trim adds a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a smart rearview mirror, and a Harman Kardon audio system.
While Subaru hasn't released official pricing, the front-wheel-drive version is anticipated to start between 30,000 and 40,000 USD. Competitors include the Hyundai Kona Electric and Kia Niro EV.
