On the morning of 5/8, a car traveling near a tunnel entrance in Yuzhong District, Chongqing City, China, unexpectedly shot into the air and became suspended.

Dashcam footage from a vehicle traveling behind, as well as surveillance camera video, showed a white SUV in the middle lane approaching a curve, with the tunnel exit to its left. Nearing the tunnel entrance, the vehicle abruptly crossed a solid line, veered left, launched upwards, and crashed forcefully into a cliff face, causing a large rock to fall.

Following the impact, the vehicle became stuck among several tree branches and a power station below, rendering it immobile. The driver attempted to open the door but could not exit due to the significant height above the ground.

It was only when rescue personnel arrived at the scene and deployed a ladder that the driver and one passenger could safely exit the vehicle. Both individuals were subsequently taken to the hospital for medical checks but appeared uninjured.
