VinFast launches a range of electric car and motorbike incentives at the start of the year

VinFast launches the "fiercely for a green future" campaign, assisting consumers in transitioning to electric cars and motorbikes, with benefits extending until the end of 2026.

In early 2026, VinFast introduced a campaign to encourage nationwide adoption of its green vehicle lines. The company's three new policies include: 0-down payment vehicle installment plans, price reductions, and free charging and battery swapping. VinFast plans to implement the program nationwide throughout 2026.

The 0-down payment vehicle installment policy applies to both VinFast electric cars and motorbikes. Through this program, the Vietnamese electric vehicle company collaborates with banks and financial organizations to offer preferential interest rates, eliminating the need for users to provide an initial capital contribution to own a vehicle. According to VinFast, this policy removes initial financial barriers, enabling people to immediately switch to pure electric vehicles.

Additionally, VinFast offers a direct 10% price reduction for its VF 8 and VF 9 electric car lines, amounting to nearly 170 million dong. A 6% reduction applies to all other electric cars (VF 3, VF 5, VF 6, VF 7, EC Van, Green line) and electric motorbikes, equivalent to several million to tens of millions of dong.

The company expects to sell electric motorbike lines with battery swapping in Quarter I, offering users free battery swaps for six months from the time of vehicle purchase.

Under the charging and battery swapping policy, all personally owned VinFast vehicles will receive free charging at V-Green stations until 30/6/2027 for cars and until 31/5/2027 for motorbikes. Electric cars belonging to transport business partners will receive free charging during off-peak hours and a 50% price reduction during peak hours.

VinFast is a leader in implementing comprehensive support policies for users, covering everything from the initial purchase to ongoing use. The company has also expanded its charging station and battery swap cabinet system, along with a business and after-sales network that covers all provinces and cities nationwide, to fully support user needs.

VinFast marked 2025 as a triumphant year, with global sales projected to reach nearly 200,000 vehicles. In the domestic market, the Vietnamese car company secured approximately 30% market share with sales of over 170,000 units, outperforming competing brands like Toyota and Hyundai by several times. In the electric motorbike segment, VinFast also dominates the market with record-high sales.
