The deposit program, which includes a 51 million VND incentive, is available from 27/5 until the end of 3/6. The new generation D-segment SUV is listed at 999 million VND, with a seven-year or 160,000 km warranty for the vehicle. The battery comes with an eight-year or 160,000 km warranty, whichever comes first. The company announced a non-refundable, non-cancellable deposit of 15 million VND per vehicle, valid until the end of the year.

In addition to the direct price incentive, the VF 8 also benefits from VinFast's ongoing policies, such as a 10% discount on the selling price or a fixed interest rate of 5% for the first three years, and free battery charging until 10/2/2029.

Starting 27/5, VinFast began showcasing pre-production versions of the new generation VF 8 at its authorized dealerships. The commercial version of this model is expected to be delivered to users from late july.

The new generation VF 8 is the first model in VinFast's product line to receive comprehensive upgrades in design, technology, and features. The vehicle's design follows the "tech fluid" philosophy, featuring a wide, glossy black grille and signature V-shaped daytime running lights. The interior is more minimalist than the previous version, focusing on amenities including a 12,9-inch infotainment screen, two-zone automatic air conditioning with integrated Combi 1.0 air filtration, and an eight-speaker sound system.

A company representative stated that the new generation VF 8 utilizes a proprietary technology platform developed and owned by VinFast. This includes: an entirely new chassis, FSD (frequency selective dampers) adaptive suspension, a new SDV (software defined vehicle) electrical-electronic system, and an ITM (integrated thermal management) system. According to the company, ITM is a solution that enhances operational efficiency, saves energy, extends battery and motor life, and manages heat sources more effectively.

The new generation VF 8 is powered by an electric motor with 170 kW of power, equivalent to 228 horsepower, and 330 Nm of torque. The vehicle offers three driving modes: economy, normal, and sport. Its 60,13 kWh battery provides a range of nearly 500 km according to NEDC standards. VinFast announced that the vehicle can charge from 10-70% in approximately 30 minutes.

"With a comprehensive advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) and many advanced safety technologies, the new generation VinFast VF 8 is designed to achieve a 5-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating and certifications from other reputable new car assessment organizations," a company representative said.
