From mid-June, Volkswagen dealerships in Vietnam informed customers of the Viloran's new pricing. The Premium version is now priced at 2.088 billion VND, a 99 million VND increase. The Luxury version is now 2.288 billion VND, a 100 million VND increase.
The new prices apply to 2025 model year Vilorans (VIN 2025), while 2024 models retain their original prices of 1.989-2.188 billion VND. Dealerships confirmed the price increase, stating that the vehicle's features remain unchanged.

A Volkswagen representative confirmed the Viloran price increase, attributing it to rising exchange rates and shipping costs.
The Viloran is currently Volkswagen's best-selling model in Vietnam, accounting for over 50% of its sales. Its distinct MPV design, extensive features, and German branding have allowed it to carve out a niche in the premium MPV segment, positioned above mainstream models like the Kia Carnival and GAC M8, but below luxury offerings like the Mercedes V-Class and Lexus LM.
While the Viloran's price has increased, other Volkswagen models are being offered with discounts in the form of registration fee support or accessory packages. In June, the Volkswagen Tiguan (1.688 billion VND) is being offered with 100% registration fee support. With registration fees ranging from 10-12% depending on the province or city, this translates to a discount of approximately 169-202 million VND.
The Touareg, Volkswagen's most expensive SUV in Vietnam, priced between 2.699 and 3.099 billion VND, is being offered with a discount of approximately 270-371 million VND, depending on the registration location, also through a 100% registration fee support program in June.
The Teramont X (1.998-2.168 billion VND) has a 50% registration fee discount, equivalent to a price reduction of approximately 100-130 million VND at dealerships.
Currently, all Volkswagen products sold in Vietnam are imported. The company does not disclose sales figures.
