Woman on motorbike vanishes in front of truck

A woman on a motorbike was pulled under a truck while crossing the road on 13/7 in Quynh Luu commune.

The incident occurred as a woman on a motorbike attempted to cross the road towards an opening without checking for oncoming traffic. A truck, traveling straight, sounded its horn but showed no signs of slowing. The truck then pulled the woman and her motorbike under. The victim's condition remains unknown.

When crossing the road, motorcyclists must not only use turn signals but also actively observe their surroundings, changing direction only when safe. Upon seeing or hearing a large vehicle approaching, motorcyclists should proactively maintain distance. Especially when turning, always check mirrors, observe both sides, and quickly turn one's head if necessary to identify approaching vehicles. Many individuals habitually activate their turn signals and change direction without confirming if other vehicles are behind them.

Drivers of large vehicles must remain focused on their surroundings, sound their horns as a warning, and brake immediately upon seeing a motorbike crossing their path.

In a similar incident, a truck's dashcam recorded a young woman on an electric bike disappearing under the vehicle on 14/4 on National Route 19, in the Quy Nhon area of Gia Lai. Video: Contributor
