In early March, Yadea Vietnam launched its newest electric scooter model, the Osta, available in two versions: H+ and P. These versions differ in top speed, battery capacity, and under-seat storage volume.

Both Osta versions use LFP batteries, according to Yadea's announcement. The H+ version has a 2.16 kWh battery, providing a range of 120 km after a full charge. The Osta P, conversely, features a 3.24 kWh battery, offering an extended range of 180 km per full charge. Yadea tested these range figures under standard conditions. Actual mileage may vary due to factors such as load, temperature, wind speed, road conditions, or rider habits.
During real-world use of the Osta H+ in Hanoi's inner-city traffic, the company's stated figures did not differ significantly. A rider used the scooter from 99% battery down to 1% while testing various operational features, observing that 1 km of travel corresponded to approximately 1% battery consumption. Yadea states that its battery management system (BMS) displays precise battery percentage and predicts charging time and full charge time in real-time.
Beyond its performance, Yadea designed the Osta with a European scooter aesthetic, characterized by rounded and minimalist surface lines. The striking LED lighting system features hexagonal headlights, equipped with a light sensor for automatic adjustment (auto) based on the environment. A key appeal for users is the comfortable riding posture and the thick, insulated seat cushion, which provides a pleasant experience during long rides.

The Osta incorporates Yadea's Aigo Max Edition smart technology package, which includes numerous connectivity features: a smart key, the Yadea App, vehicle positioning and protection, regenerative braking, hands-free cruise control, traction control system (TCS), and various riding modes. For example, with the smart key, users can start the scooter in multiple ways, such as using a traditional mechanical key, a keyless smart key, or even starting and operating the vehicle via the Yadea App.
The Osta's digital display also supports navigation screen mirroring when synchronized with a smartphone. This includes bluetooth connectivity for music playback or hands-free calls. In practical use during Hanoi's scorching sunny days, this TFT color screen demonstrated effective anti-glare capability, allowing riders to easily observe important parameters like speed and distance traveled.

The Osta is equipped with Yadea's exclusive TTFAR engine, which the company developed in-house. It has a rated power of 1,500W, allowing the P version to reach a maximum speed of 63 km/h. The scooter offers selectable riding modes: TTFAR, Free, and Sport, which vary in throttle response and maximum speed. In TTFAR mode, the scooter optimizes range based on battery capacity.
The Yadea Osta launched amidst continuously adjusted domestic gasoline and oil prices, attracting many users to electric scooters. A Yadea distributor in Hanoi reported a significant increase in user interest and orders for the Osta model since early March. "At certain times, users ordering the Osta had to be placed on a waiting list because vehicles were not immediately available for delivery. The company expects to increase the allocation of scooters to dealerships in the coming period," a sales representative stated.
The Yadea Osta is available in two versions, H+ and P, priced at 27.5 million VND and 31.99 million VND, respectively, including VAT. The scooter comes with an official warranty of three years or 30,000 km.
