The hybrid powertrain on the Xpander HEV 2026 consists of a 1,5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine combined with an electric motor.
The Xpander Hybrid 2026 represents a mid-cycle refresh, applying to both the Xpander HEV and Xpander Cross HEV variants. In Thailand, the new Xpander HEV is priced at 28,700 USD, while the Xpander Cross HEV 2026 carries a price tag of 29,600 USD.
This popular MPV model incorporates a sophisticated hybrid powertrain. It combines a 1,5-liter naturally aspirated gasoline engine, which delivers 92 horsepower and 134 Nm of peak torque, with an electric motor that produces 112 horsepower and 255 Nm of torque. Power for the electric motor comes from a 1,1 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. The vehicle features front-wheel drive and offers 7 distinct driving modes for varied road conditions.
The new Xpander hybrid's chassis maintains the same structure as its predecessor. It features MacPherson front suspension with an anti-roll bar and strut bar, alongside a torsion beam rear suspension. Braking is handled by 4-wheel disc brakes, with ventilated discs at the front. The vehicle rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with 205/55 R17 tires.
Exterior-wise, the Xpander Hybrid 2026 receives minor design refinements. The vehicle is equipped with LED lighting and aggressive front and rear bumpers. Further enhancements include a rear window defogger and automatic rain-sensing wipers. The hybrid version's overall dimensions remain unchanged compared to the internal combustion engine model.
Inside, the cabin features black synthetic leather seats, enhanced with copper accents throughout. An 8-inch LCD screen sits behind the steering wheel, providing essential driver information. Centrally, a 10-inch infotainment touchscreen offers connectivity with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto.
