A young man on a motorbike sped quickly in the dark, then braked suddenly when close to a car's rear, causing him to fall onto the road. Fortunately, no vehicles were approaching from the opposite direction, and the dashcam-equipped vehicle behind was traveling slowly, preventing a chain collision.
This incident highlights the importance of maintaining a safe distance and controlling speed while driving. Speeding and a lack of driver focus often lead to sudden braking and self-inflicted falls, especially for motorbike riders. While car occupants benefit from safety belts and airbags during abrupt stops, motorbikes are prone to tipping over and lack similar safety technology. On 8/1, a similar incident on Cau Giay street in Ha Noi resulted in the death of a motorbike rider.
