Apollo expands operations into biopharmaceuticals

Apollo announces plans to expand into biopharmaceuticals, aligning with its strategy to develop high-standard business segments, as revealed at a recent appreciation event.

Apollo Group hosted the "Beyond Bonding" appreciation event in late January in TP HCM. The event brought together international strategic partners, clients, and its nationwide distribution network.

A company representative stated that the event provided an opportunity for Apollo to reflect on over two decades in the building materials chemical sector while marking a strategic shift. This involves gradually expanding its business ecosystem into high-standard fields, including biopharmaceuticals.

For Apollo, the "Beyond Bonding" message extends beyond a single appreciation night; it reflects the group's cooperation philosophy. This philosophy centers on building relationships that transcend commercial transactions, grounded in standards, operational discipline, and long-term responsibility towards partners, clients, and the community. This also guides their expansion, emphasizing selective growth on a proven foundation rather than broad development.

At the event, Apollo affirmed that building materials chemicals, particularly silicone sealant, remain a core business segment. This field demands high precision, strict quality control capabilities, and long-term operational stability.

Over the past two decades, Apollo Group has built this foundation through close collaboration with international strategic partners such as Shin-Etsu and Dow Chemical. This comprehensive partnership involves sharing technical standards, technology, management experience, and sustainable development orientations. This foundation enables the company to maintain consistent quality, strengthen its market reputation, and distribution network amidst increasing competition.

Consequently, the group is gradually expanding its product portfolio with an ecosystem mindset, targeting interdisciplinary application groups closely related in technology and standards. This expansion into fields like personal care, medical, and high-requirement industrial applications reflects a selective growth strategy to ensure consistent standards across the entire ecosystem.

"Each new field must align with the technical DNA, operational capabilities, and sustainable development philosophy established throughout the group's development," a company representative affirmed.

Furthermore, as part of its multi-industry roadmap, Apollo Biopharma, a unit within the Apollo Group ecosystem, is being launched as a new pillar. The goal is to build a factory adhering to EU-GMP standards, one of the most rigorous benchmarks in the pharmaceutical sector. This project focuses on pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and medical supplies, areas demanding high quality, safety, and process control.

According to a group representative, Apollo Biopharma is not merely a trendy shift but a natural extension of the philosophy pursued for over two decades. This philosophy asserts that trust is built only through standards, discipline, and long-term responsibility, whether for building materials or healthcare products.

Alongside its business direction, Apollo Group continues to uphold community activities under the Apollo Care program, guided by the spirit of "Giving is forever." The expansion into biopharmaceuticals also stems from a desire to contribute more to the community, enabling people to access international standard products suitable for the domestic market.
