On the morning of March 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh chaired a conference titled "Businesses contributing to double-digit growth". At the conference, challenges and opportunities arising from the Middle East conflict were among the main topics addressed by the business community.
Speaking at the conference, Labor Hero Thai Huong, chairwoman of TH Group's strategy council, noted that amid unprecedented global changes such as the pandemic, supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical conflicts, the government's decisive and flexible leadership helped the economy overcome the crisis, establishing a foundation for business development.

Thanks to this, TH Group has maintained double-digit growth for many years. Last year, the company achieved a growth rate of 17% and aims for 20,9% in 2026.
Ms. Thai Huong stated that the world is currently seeing many achievements in science and technology, management science, and the digital economy, all built on a foundation of sustainable development. "In this context, I propose that Vietnam develop appropriate mechanisms and policies for each industry and historical period to create 'leading enterprises' in every sector," the group's founder affirmed.
According to Ms. Thai Huong, agriculture is a challenging sector due to its dependence on nature. However, high efficiency is achievable through the application of science and technology, modern management, and green and circular economy models focused on sustainable development. The growth of Vietnam's fresh milk industry demonstrates this, as the proportion of domestic fresh milk has increased from approximately 8% (of total liquid milk volume) in 2008 to nearly 60% today.
Drawing from her investment experience, she emphasized that each industry requires tailored policies for its specific development stage. When a market becomes saturated, strategies need timely adjustment. She cited Russia as an example: initially, the market faced a milk shortage, but after only about two years of investment, their agricultural sector generated revenue and helped stabilize the market.

In addition to the domestic market, TH Group has expanded its international investments. The group has a 2,7 billion USD project in the Russian Federation and large-scale beef cattle farming projects in Australia. Currently, the group is developing grape growing areas to produce wine for domestic consumption and export. TH is also exploring investment in the dairy industry in Indonesia, following a request from that country.
A key issue the businesswoman particularly highlighted at the event was nutrition and food safety for children. She proposed the early development of a School Nutrition Law, based on pilot programs already implemented (notably the Model School Meal program) and major directives from the Party and State, including Resolution 71 on education development and the goal of ensuring every child receives adequate nutritional care.
According to her, the agricultural sector, especially dairy farming, still has significant potential to contribute to the double-digit growth target. The government's industry development strategies have created a foundation for businesses to build long-term plans, while also integrating farmers more deeply into the value chain.
Emphasizing a sustainable development orientation, a representative from TH Group stated that the company will continue to invest in technology, modern management, and a circular economy, aiming for carbon neutrality and Net Zero goals, contributing to the long-term development of the economy.
Established in 2009, TH true Milk is TH Group's flagship brand in the fresh milk sector. The company currently operates a system of high-tech centralized dairy farms with a total herd of nearly 75,000 cows.
After more than 15 years of development, the brand commands over 50% of the fresh milk market share in urban areas of Vietnam, while also expanding its products into various food and beverage lines, exporting to 12 countries.
The group pursues a green economy and circular economy model, applying "precision agriculture," utilizing renewable energy, and recycling waste to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Concurrently, the company actively participates in national nutrition programs, such as school milk initiatives, contributing to improving people's physical health and promoting domestic fresh milk consumption.
