Vivo has unveiled its new V70 and V70 FE smartphones in Vietnam, with a strong emphasis on advanced photography capabilities. The V70 series, developed in partnership with Zeiss, continues Vivo's focus on portrait photography, while both models integrate AI for enhanced image processing and overall performance.
The Vivo V70 features a robust camera setup, including a 50 megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50 megapixel telephoto camera, an 8 megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 50 megapixel front camera with autofocus. Its shooting modes leverage AI algorithms to improve light capture, maintain detail during zoom, and optimize images in challenging lighting conditions. The device also supports 4K 60 frames per second video recording and AI-powered audio processing.

For users prioritizing high resolution, the Vivo V70 FE stands out with a 200 megapixel main camera, featuring a 1/1.56 inch sensor. This model incorporates CIPA 4.0 stabilization and offers up to 30x zoom through telephoto lens enhancement technology. It excels at capturing both expansive wide shots and intricate details from a distance with remarkable sharpness. A dedicated cropping tool allows users to extract multiple frames from a single photo while preserving detail, even after extensive zooming. Vivo claims that image quality remains exceptional, providing clarity at up to 900% magnification, even after numerous crops.
Both the V70 and V70 FE come equipped with on-device AI photo editing tools. These features enable users to perform tasks such as object removal, frame expansion, color correction, and background changes directly on their device. This integration streamlines the post-production process, helping users to quickly process and refine their content.
In terms of design, the V70 sports an aluminum alloy frame. Its curved profile, combined with a flat screen featuring ultra-thin bezels and a metallic camera module, presents a minimalist aesthetic. The back panel is crafted from AG glass, offering resistance against fingerprints and scratches. It is available in a "Golden Hour" color option, which mimics a sunset glow effect through a photolithography process that creates micron-level surface texture for a dynamic light display. Other color choices include Metallic Gray and Luminous Black.

The Vivo V70 FE, on the other hand, embraces a slim and light flagship design, with a thickness of 7,59 mm and a weight of approximately 200 grams. It utilizes layered petal technology to achieve a subtle metallic gradient effect on its rear. This model is offered in Muse Purple, Ocean Blue, and Azure Silver colors.
Under the hood, the V70 delivers strong performance with LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.1 storage, and a 6.500 mAh battery supporting 90 W fast charging. A large vapor chamber cooling system helps maintain optimal temperatures. The device also features a 6,59 inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and boasts IP68 and IP69 ratings for durability.

The V70 FE is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7360 processor and a substantial 7.000 mAh battery, complemented by power optimization mechanisms designed to extend usage. Even when the battery level drops to 5%, the device can still provide up to 21,6 hours of standby time or 157 minutes of call time thanks to its super power saving mode. Furthermore, advanced battery optimization technology helps preserve battery health for up to 5 years. The V70 FE features a 1.5K AMOLED display and a symmetrical dual stereo speaker system, ensuring a rich experience for entertainment and multitasking.
Both smartphones run on OriginOS 6, which integrates various AI features for enhanced search, note-taking, content creation, and multi-device connectivity. Vivo has announced that both products will be available for sale in Vietnam soon. The V70 FE will be priced from approximately 13,99 million VND, while the V70 will start from 17,99 million VND.
During the initial launch phase, customers can take advantage of promotions valued at up to 5,5 million VND. These offers include an EP-Windy Bluetooth speaker or shopping vouchers, a 0% installment plan, a 24-month warranty, and trade-in support. Users will also receive a Viettel 5G data package of 15 GB valid for 15 days. To allow hands-on experience, Vivo will host a series of photography workshops on 4/4 and 11/4 at The Gioi Di Dong stores in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
