Artex securities, linked to businessman Trinh Van Quyet, removed from control status

The state securities commission removed Artex securities joint stock company from control status on 26/2.

Artex Securities, formerly BOS Securities, announced this information on the morning of 27/2. The State Securities Commission (SSC) requires Artex to continue complying with Vietnamese securities and stock market laws and regulations. The agency also mandates that related individuals and organizations are responsible for the accuracy and legality of their filings and reports.

Artex was placed under control in 10/2024 after failing to meet financial safety targets. Subsequently, in early 2025, the Vietnam Stock Exchange (VNX) partially suspended the company's trading activities. These activities included purchasing listed securities and trading on the Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange (HoSE) and the Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX).

Established in 2008, Artex Securities is known for its ties to the FLC ecosystem and many of its leaders, including former Chairman of the Board of Directors Trinh Van Quyet. In 7/2025, the company reverted to its original name, Artex Securities, from BOS Securities. This move was part of a comprehensive restructuring strategy following its period under control. The firm also relocated its headquarters to FLC Landmark Tower in Tu Liem, Hanoi.

Artex anticipates completing procedures with regulatory bodies in March to reopen buying transactions for clients. The company is also developing an operational roadmap for the 2026-2028 period, aiming for client growth and revenue improvement through enhanced brokerage and expanded financial services.
