On 19/5, the People's Committee of Dong Nai City launched the "Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho" for 2026 at Factory Z114, a unit of the General Department of Defense Industry, in Long Binh ward. The event saw participation from local authorities, departments, military units, organizations, media, and supporting businesses, including C.P. Vietnam. The company's continued support for forestry seedlings is expected to boost local tree planting initiatives.

At the launch event, Mr. Pawalit Ua-Amornwanit, General Director of C.P. Vietnam, expressed the company's desire to collaborate with authorities and communities on sustainable development activities. He stated that the trees planted today will provide shade, enhance the living environment, and protect natural resources.
C.P. Vietnam's main office, 5 factories, and the CPV Food Binh Phuoc export chicken processing complex are located in Dong Nai. Beyond production, job creation, and high-tech agricultural value chain development, the company maintains programs for environmental protection, landscape restoration, and local ecosystem development.
From 2023 to 2025, C.P. Vietnam supported the planting, care, and restoration of over 102 hectares of forest in the Dong Nai area, totaling more than 222,000 trees, with a total cost exceeding 9,6 billion VND. This year, the company continues its support with 100,000 forestry seedlings for localities in Dong Nai, costing over 2,5 billion VND.

Concurrently, C.P. Vietnam continues its partnership with Dong Thap for the "Tree planting festival in eternal gratitude to Uncle Ho" program in 2026. This initiative aims to promote tree planting, raising community awareness about the role of trees in environmental protection, disaster mitigation, and climate change response.
This year, the company is donating 9,450 trees, including Shorea roxburghii, Afzelia xylocarpa, Sonneratia caseolaris, Lagerstroemia speciosa, Delonix regia, Dalbergia tonkinensis, and Dipterocarpus alatus. These trees will be planted in various localities such as Lap Vo, Tan Duong, Tan Thanh, My Hiep, Sa Dec, and An Binh. The total funding exceeds 285 million VND, contributing to the province's plan to plant 15,470 trees as part of the 2026 program.

This marks the third consecutive year C.P. Vietnam has joined the tree planting program in Dong Thap, aligning with the government's one billion tree planting project. Since 2023, the company has donated over 350,000 forestry trees to the locality, supporting ecosystem restoration, maintaining green spaces, and establishing green embankments to prevent erosion, conserve soil, and retain water.
Through programs in Dong Nai, Dong Thap, and other localities, C.P. Vietnam affirms its continued commitment to environmental protection, aiming for a development model that harmonizes production, nature conservation, and long-term community benefits.
