The Joint Ministries of Industry and Trade and Finance announced fuel price adjustments, noting that global petroleum markets have seen mixed trends over the past seven days, influenced by the US-Iran conflict.
According to the Joint Ministries' directive, e10 ron 95-iii gasoline price decreased by 410 dong, settling at 20,000 dong per liter. Similarly, e5 ron 92 price dropped by 540 dong, reaching 19,190 dong per liter.
Diesel and mazut oil prices experienced mixed changes. Currently, each liter of diesel costs 21,740 dong, while mazut is priced at 13,730 dong per kg.

Regulators in this period resumed contributions to the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund, setting the rate at 200 dong for each liter of biofuel and mazut. The fund contribution for diesel oil was set at 0 dong per liter.
To address the complex developments in the Middle East conflict, taxes on petroleum products (excluding the special consumption tax on gasoline) will continue to be reduced to 0 until the end of September.
A representative from the Ministry of Industry and Trade stated that in the month since e10 gasoline became widely available, the country consumed approximately 980 million liters of biofuel. Of this total, e10 gasoline accounted for 924 million liters, equivalent to 96%, with e5 making up about 56 million liters.
