In the final results, cow HF215505, owned by Tran Van Da from unit 19/5, won the top title. Born in 2021, cow HF215505 carries a selected gene line with a sire imported from the US and a dam of Dutch-Cuban origin. The new "Miss" cow possesses a balanced appearance, weighs 683 kg, and has stable reproductive capability with three previous calvings, now preparing for her fourth. Notably, her 305-day milk yield reached 12,260 kg.
This championship title is seen as a result of the systematic, consistent care provided by the farming household, and it continues the achievements of unit 19/5, a unit that has repeatedly had cows win the highest title at the contest. According to the organizing committee, in 2026, cow HF215505's identification number and unit 19/5's name will be printed on the packaging of Moc Chau Creamery products, a new premium milk brand launched in 12/202, to promote the image and value of the highland dairy industry.

The "Miss Moc Chau Dairy Cow" is a traditional contest organized by Moc Chau Dairy Cattle Breeding Joint Stock Company since 2004. This year's event not only honored high-yielding dairy cows but also provided an opportunity for farming households to interact, share experiences, access scientific and technical advancements, and spread the value of dairy farming in Moc Chau.
Over the past three months, the judging panel conducted many rigorous judging rounds, evaluating over 10,000 cows across 455 farming households belonging to Moc Chau Dairy Cattle Breeding Joint Stock Company. Selection criteria were based not only on overall physical beauty but also on body indices, udder, health, and milk yield, which are factors determining brand quality.
From over 26,000 dairy cows across 10 farming units, 40 outstanding individuals were selected for the final round. This year's contest was marked by the appearance of new generations of calves with superior genetics, bred using sex-sorted semen imported from Canada and the US. This is a testament to the clean, sustainable, and generational value of the Moc Chau dairy herd.
"Each step taken by these 'Miss' cows on stage not only showcases their physical beauty but also serves as a testament to the scientific farming process, selected gene source, and the strong, long-term bond between humans and the herd," shared a representative of the judging panel.
