GBE Medical Aesthetic Center has introduced Accure Laser into its comprehensive treatment protocols for inflammatory acne, oily skin, and excessive sebum secretion. This move positions GBE as one of the first facilities in Northern Vietnam to adopt the technology. The Accure Laser System is cleared by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for treating mild to severe inflammatory acne, offering a new energy-based option in aesthetic dermatology.
Accure Laser was developed to selectively target sebaceous glands, a key factor in the formation and persistence of inflammatory acne. This technology complements existing methods such as medication, skincare, and professional inflammation control. Its introduction provides an additional option for clients with inflammatory acne, oily skin, or persistent recurrent acne.

According to the manufacturer's technical documentation, the 1726 nm wavelength is designed to penetrate the epidermis and focus energy on the sebaceous gland area beneath the skin. The thermal energy is selectively absorbed, which helps reduce sebaceous gland activity while minimizing impact on surrounding healthy tissue. This targeted approach gives doctors an additional tool in developing personalized treatment protocols.
An FDA letter dated 17/11/2022 confirmed that the Accure Laser System is substantially equivalent to a legally marketed device in the US, clearing it for marketing via the 510(k) pathway under file K222109. The device is classified as Class II, product code GEX, and is regulated as a surgical laser device for general surgery, plastic surgery, and dermatology.
The FDA-recognized indication for Accure Laser System is the treatment of mild to severe inflammatory acne. GBE representatives emphasize the importance of understanding this specific FDA scope when communicating about the device. It should not be interpreted as "FDA approved for treating all types of acne" or "FDA certified superior efficacy compared to other methods".

GBE states that Accure is not a standalone solution but a component of a comprehensive treatment strategy. This technology is combined with methods for inflammation control, skin barrier restoration, and personalized care to optimize results for each client. Clients interested in Accure Laser are primarily those with oily skin, recurrent inflammatory acne, or individuals who have undergone various treatments without achieving stable results.
Following the treatment course, some clients reported improved oil secretion, less oily skin, and a gradual reduction in inflammatory acne lesions over time. However, a GBE doctor representative stressed that treatment efficacy depends on each client's skin condition, individual constitution, acne severity, and personalized protocol. Individuals with persistent inflammatory acne should undergo a direct examination to determine their skin condition, underlying causes, and appropriate treatment plan.
