Genki Sushi opens second restaurant in Vietnam

Genki Sushi opened its second restaurant at Crescent Mall, TP HCM on 20/3, bringing a Japanese dining experience combined with technology to Vietnam.

Genki Sushi Crescent Mall features a Kousoku train system that quickly delivers dishes directly to customers' tables, with prices starting from 19,000 VND per sushi plate. Customers can simply scan a QR code at their table to order, and the sushi plates will be transported via the train system. Dishes at Genki are not pre-made but prepared immediately after ordering, ensuring freshness and high quality.

With a diverse menu of over 140 items, suitable for many diners, including sushi, sashimi, rice, noodles, and typical Japanese side dishes, Genki Sushi also creates innovative new dishes. A brand representative stated that ingredients are carefully selected, featuring premium items such as Norwegian salmon, tuna, salmon roe, and Japanese eel. All adhere to strict preservation processes to ensure freshness.

Additionally, Genki Sushi regularly introduces seasonal dishes to offer new experiences to customers. Notable items include Jumbo Sushi, measuring 22-27 cm, and Lucky Salmon Salad, which have delighted many diners.

Genki Sushi's kitchen team undergoes rigorous training to ensure consistent dish quality. The friendly and professional staff also contributes to the brand's reputation in the Vietnamese market. "From its early days, Genki has maintained a steady number of daily customers and a loyal customer base", the representative said.

The restaurant at Crescent Mall has a seating capacity of 91, suitable for groups or couples. Compared to the Saigon Centre branch, this location is larger and includes an additional Kousoku train line for faster customer service.

This second restaurant marks a new development for Genki Sushi in the Vietnamese F&B market. Genki Sushi, with nearly 60 years of operation in Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand, is expanding its presence in Vietnam. Previously, in 2025, Genki Sushi opened its first store at Saigon Centre, a bustling commercial area in TP HCM. The restaurant quickly attracted customer interest due to its blend of Japanese culinary excellence and modern service style with the unique Kousoku train system.

For this occasion, Genki Sushi Crescent Mall offers various promotional programs: with a bill from 500,000 VND, customers will receive a mystery gift box; a bill from 600,000 VND provides customers with a free experience voucher for one of four sashimi dishes: salmon, tuna, spicy and sour salmon, and spicy and sour tuna; taiyaki fish cakes and mochi are given to customers who rate the restaurant on Google Maps from 20/3 to 20/5.
